Hi everone ,
i thought i'd better put this in the right area .
"KTM spares give me a break" in Hoolingan section originally .....

So after 4 months of being at the dealers being repaired,i was going to collect her , but had a call saying , my engine had a strange noise .......

They looked at it yesterday , and rang me , had i done any work , yep i removed the s.a.s. set up , fitted a h.i.d. .......

Had i removed my cam chain tensioner/plunger

Its a new bike , 1st service by them , so my 1st question is , do you remove the cam chain plunger or tensioner when you do valve clearences at the 1st service ????

So after establishing i hadn't , they are going to put one in , as its been missing for 2000 miles , would this have any problems with wear on the cam chain , etc....???

As i was going to ask for a extended warranty on the engine , one of those 2nd hand bike type warranty extended ones to make sure the motor would not go bang a year down the line.

So a technical question really.

Thanks for any help.
Cheers.
