carbon tank fitting gas strut needed??

Hi all,
i am just fitting a carbon tank,
and there is no holes for the support strut,so do i need to remove it,
or can i leave it in place and fit said tank???

Most people just remove it from whatever tank they have fitted, as it makes it even harder to get the tank bolted back down.

So yeah, just remove it and remember that you have done so next time you lift it

the only problem i encountered on my present fitting has been the strut question.
