Changing Bars out ..

Okay guys.. Here it is.. I did a lot research on here and from what I gleaned the bars from Ducati Monsters are a direct fit of to my Duke, so I bought some from an 08 696 which don't fit my clamps.. Wtf.. They're 7/8 throughout as opposed to the standard bars that widen to I think an inch at the clamps.

So my question is... Can I buy clamps to fit, or should I just sell them and buy lsl bars..

I used the bars from an 07 S4RS Monster and they fit perfect. I thought they were all tapered bars. Are you sure they're from a Monster?

...there are two types of monster bars ....normal (Steel) and Tapperd (Alloy)

796 works a treat, great riding position for road and track

Have a scroll through the "Handle Bars and Bends" " thread.

I put all the part numbers up in there. I think the old style chrome ones don't fit though. It has to be the alloy bars.
