yep, out the bottom with both of those hoses is the best place for them to be. UNvented too!

I would question the capable chemical nature of the bottle ye have used?,.... will it be able to withstand the volatile nature of fuel and not melt,
most plastics will not tolerate exposure to gasoline, it may melt, you could remove the cap and place it in fuel over night and see if it passes the melt-down test,
you know what I speak of too cos ye are the master of autos and the building of very neat stuff a true LEGEND! nice to meet and know you, wrebitup.
