#2No...... engine should be warmed up to 4 bars on the guage.turned off and left for a few mins then check the sight tube

#3Remember that if the engine is run at idle, bike on sidestand, till the 4 bars show it's the water temperature that's shown on the gauge not engine oil temperature.
I find it more accurate to check the oil after a ride, of course with the engine off and settled for 20 seconds.
