I did back-bleed the Evo slave and it had been working fine for the past year or so.

I will wait and see about that service bulletin.

As for now I will take the bus to work

Once I figure out the cause I will let you know the out come and solution.

advice --- CHECK YOUR CLUTCH CAP BOLTS!!!!!!!!

Thanks for everyone's help...it most certainly was a loosened bolt.
and a few others were loose. Luckily no thread damage or broken
bolt in the threads. PHEEEW-WEE

hey del, glad to see you caught it. could have been catastrophic. im gonna check mine. did you have to replace the clutch cover gasket.

I didn't replace the gasket, didn't think I needed to, looked fine
and in tack.
