Coolant Loss

My 2005 SD has suddenly developed a coolant loss of fairly drastic proportions after 6000 of fairly trouble free performance . There are no visible leaks. It has been booked in for a waterpump change next week, just wondered if anyone else has has this problem.
I've visited the LC8 website and they talk about a problem with the coolant leaking into the engine through the pump via seals.

New to the site- I have the black 05 S.D. and had the same problem. Its the water pump seal. Its common on the LC8 motor. My seal failed at 10k miles. Started putting waterimg in the oil (not good), but easy to fix.[/img][/code]

Yeah seems about right. Gonna see if they will change the oil for me and filter. Its already booked in for a water pump change. I've a 6 day blast from london up to Scotland in 2 weeks don't want any worries.
