I'm in the middle of modding / maintenance on the bike. I took the rad and lines off to help with the upcoming valve clearance check. I've done a flush of the cooling channels and am looking at the o-rings for the coolant line into the water pump (the hard tube running down from the thermostat). I had an o-ring on each side of the flange on the tube however the Orange Garage shows both o-rings on the water pump housing side;
Can anyone advise the proper placement?
Also, if I have no overheating issues, I take it the thermostat and rad cap are not needed to be replaced, nor are the o-rings and water pump gasket?
