I am half way through installing Sas blockoffs and a Rottweiler airbox. I have been waiting for a while to get the new improved base plate.
Installation has been pretty smooth so far but I am wondering about the breather hose position. Would like to know if anyone installed one of these and how the hose was routed. pictures I have seen so far has showed the temp sensor mounted in the middle between the throttle bodies and the breather hose in front inside the base plate.
The new style of plate has the temp sensor mounted in front and the breather hose is supposed to be mounted on the right side between the throttle bodies.
Not sure that the stock hose will reach across...hoping that someone already installed one of these and can offer some advice.

I guess the easy thing to do is plug the hole in the base plate and put a small filter on the breather hose instead.
Looks like you are going to need a new hose or an extension forthe oem hose.
