crank sensor replacment

Ok, so a while back i posted my bike stalled on me. coded for this, and finally the part came in. Now to replace it, i have to removed the water pump and cover etc. So, should I be thinking to replace or, update my water pump? 08 SD btw. How about seals? Are these reusable like the valvecover gaskets?

I had the water pump cover off mine 09SD last weekend so I could flush the cooling system out and it has a rubber gasket on it so I just reused it no probs. But if you are taking the whole water pump out then I would get a water pump kit and do the lot. By the way how many ks or miles has it done?
