Any DIY crankcase breather reroutes with a motobox floating around here? I gave it a search... I'd want to mount a catch-can too. With my old Buell, this mod was super common, for the SD, not so much???

Thanks man! Seems a bit more complicated than what I had to do on my Buell? With that I routed both crankcase breather lines to a T fitting, then routed a tube straight down towards the ground. This tube was then connected to a Buell specific aftermarket catch can. The catch can had a fitting on it to where you attach a breather filter, so everything could breath. Shouldn't it be a similar process with the SD, or am I reading it wrong?

What size plug did you use to block the motobox hole? What filter/size fit into the breather line/tube?

This was all that was needed for the Buell setup:

And instructions, so you get the idea of what I'm talking about:

Here's my, patent pending, temporary solution with a failed balance shaft seal pumping out about 150ml per 100 miles:

Technically, the only difficult bit is stealing the bottle from a baby and, particularly, swopping out one full of oil for a clean new one - the mothers tend to get upset.............
