Fitted one today as it happens to a loose rear wheel a customer brought in. It was going on a ZZR1100. He'd got the tyre cheap and I don't think he really knew what he had.
Basically, it's a super sticky track tyre. I reckon you'll get all of 1500 miles out of it. I would say that if you've only fitted a rear I'd be a little wary about having a less sticky 208RR on the front.
