Track days in Sweden are carefully monitored for excess noise, and some track day organizers even require your stock exhaust to be put on. However, I've been going to a small local track a couple of times the last weeks, and compared to many other bikes there the SD isn't really that loud with the baffles out. I know this, because there has been another SD there, with exactly the same setup that I have and I was surprised how quiet it was...

Definitely out

You need an early warning system for dozy car drivers doing everything apart from driving !

Got mine from Ebay. They have transformed the bike, have ditched the PCIII which was a waste of time (& money) and am using the KTM Evo map. Throttle response is now superb.

On my PC setup dyno run, we noticed only 1BHP difference with the baffles in/out.

I leave mine in, not wishing any PC Plod attention.[/quote]
