#16Battery's died , been on bike for 11 years so not to bad ,, has any one replaced with a lithium one , and if so does a normal trickle charger work on it , was looking at one on eBay , a motor batt one £94 ,, any advice thanks ,,

Someone else will chime in here if I'm wrong but I don't think you're supposed to trickle charge the lithium ones.

#18I have had a lithium ion battery for a couple of years with no issues whatsoever. I live in Florida where it’s never really cold.
Bic in the U.K. has gone through several lithium batteries and went back to standard because they would die on him.
I did buy the special charger for lithium ion but I haven’t had to use it yet.
