Hi Guys

Anyone know what he technical differences are betwwen these bikes are? IE. What was upgraded? Also starting to think my 07 Superduke is a 05 model in disguise....
post a picture of your bike and we can tell you what model year it falls into, no problem.There are a good few discriminating factors between 05-06 and 07-onwards. 2010 I believe they made some very small changes, but i'm damned if I can remember and I'm pretty sure they were internal - so you'd never spot it by looking alone.

as I'm flying to Brazil in a few hours, I probably won't see if you do post up a pic, so very quickly, the differences I'd be looking for to see if your bike was 05-06 or 07-on;

Headlight mask - easy one, that.
Speedo - again, very easy - 05-06 is the two piece orange backed affair, analogue tacho, wheras 07-on is an all-digital one piece

^^^ the above are often changed, so can fool people...

Radial brakes on the 07-on
Bigger tank and slightly different tank spoilers on 07-on
Different "super duke" font on tank spoilers

^^^ not many people change this so this is the first thing I'd look for

Black swingarm on mid/late 08-onwards

and, umm, those are the biggies.

I'm talking standard SD here, not SDR by the way
also, 05-06 comes with 17T front sprocket - 07-on with 16T (almost everyone swaps those to 16 though)
05-06 comes with metal heel guards, 07-on with cheep plastic ones...
THANKS A MILL GUYS.. Looks like i have nothing to worry about, seems I have an 07 model. Been riding superbike for years so this is all new to me.. Pretty fun learning is all!! Will post a pic as soon as i fugure out how too.
