Sabre
In the past i've struggled with my Abba bead breaker,as i wanted something that wolud hold my wheel while i rotated it and removed my tyre
My two ladds bought me for my birthday (May) a new bead breaker that held the wheel
I was able to rotate the wheel while removing the tyre, perfect untill i realised that in my haste to assemble the thing i'd assembled it wrongly the bolts holding the two parts together should have the heads of the bolt on the inside and not as i had them at first on the outside. As soon as i rotated the wheel and heard the scraping sound i knew instantly that i'd fooked up
Bolt heads outside
Bolt heads inside
What a TW@T now my pristine SDR was SCRATCHED or at least the back wheel is.
Lesson learned the hard way now i'll have two respray the back wheel
I suppose i've saved money by fitting my own tyre's but i'm not a happy bunny tonight, roll on the trackday at Cadwell on wednesday (26/08/09)
