Rotory dampers work. It's nice to have the scott sitting in front of you so you can adjust it going down the straight. Any steering damper can be used to mask handeling problems.
Not good.
First time on a new track,or, different tyres,or,different suspension settings, I like to back off the damper to get a feeling for what is going on.
Did some club racing. WERA required a damper. If for nothing else I was told it would help when I was going off track. ( Why would you do dat?)

Thanks to you all for the input.

Is there any real diffference between the Scott and the GPR?

Any idea where the best deals are?

It looks like $511. (US) delivered, direct from Scott.
