Dry Sump?

New Guy Here. Am I correct that the Super Duke has a dry sump engine?
I can understand the Adventure and SM bikes using a dry sump but why carry it over to the Super Duke.
BTW I'd like to thank each and every one of you folks for generating such a font of knowledge for those of us on this side of the pond that are thinking about a Super Duke.
