Hi all,

Just got back from the dyno (Dynojet) and my SD is putting out 114 bhp @ 8800 rpm and 71 ft-lbs @ 7000 rpm. The SD is totally standard and is due its 5000 mile service, so the air filter is probably a bit dirty. The dyno guys though this was pretty good for a standard big sports twin. NOW I can start tuning. 130 bhp is my target (same as Bracken/HM racing SD) and I will let you know how close I get to it over the coming months. I intend doing the easy stuff first (exhaust and air filter) before tackling the heads etc. I will dyno it at various stages to show where the biggest gains are to be had- watch this space!.

Excellent, bursting to see the figures on the replacement pipes!
