DynoJet Quick Shifter - Wrong Power Commander ???

Received DynoJets Quick Shifter today, already had PCIII so made sense choosing DynoJets QS.

But says it "...is compatible with all PCIIIUSB's and plug directly into the expansion port" then"Note: PCII, PCIII and PCIIIr model Power Commanders cannot use this kit" And cannot find any expansions ports on my PCIII anyway...

So seems I goofed up. Anything I can do

Dynojet only make the pc3 in usb format for the SD so your gonna have to look harder for the expansion port! Its under a rubber cover!

Ah, OK SDR is in workshop (after putting explosafe on tank ruining fuel pump, 500euros ) so couldn't check myself, just couldn't remember any free ports...rubber cover explains why. Thanks

Dowloaded the PCIII software, says "The Power Commander III USB software will automatically “get” the map and notes from the PCIIIUSB as soon as you connect it".

Any chance the mapping will be reset when connecting it (loosing the mapping)

No it won't reset anything when you connect it, you'll just be able to read your map and then you can save it as a file to your laptop for safekeeping
