#11I think Joe's diagnosis sounds right. Not good at all on a new bike but at least its not the doomsday scenario of a gearbox pinion throwing a tooth and locking the whole box up. At least it could probably be put down to incorrect assembly or maintenance failure rather than a manufacturing fault, that would seriously damage my confidence in the bike.
