Exhaust header nuts

Any reason why they need to be copper? have some standard workshop lock nuts on and they dont melt the plastic or come off like the last ones did?
I dunno mate, probably....I've learnt not to go for aftermarket buts/fixings now and I've replaced mine before too, just ordered the copper replacements....
Copper duznt rust and duznt weld itself on under extreme heat!

Yeah guess I best get right bit will get a spare gasket too, need a reverse gear change kit too

Jody has pilfered loads of bit off my bike yesterday, battery, clutch cover, and half my clutch so he can do his Track Day at Cadwell today, (its raining) moving house this week so its not going anywhere.
