Exhaust Smell

Is it just me.....or when your done riding, do you smell of exhaust? Every time I get off the bike, my clothes wreak of exhaust. Also my G/F's clothes smell really bad as well after a ride. Is this normal?

There have been a few threads on this - others have experienced the stink. I don't think it makes my riding gear smell (perhaps I smell worse than the exhaust), but it makes my garage small. I kind of like it.
