Exhaust smoke w/ Akra map

I have fmf slip ons with akra map. I really haven't been able to ride my bike but noticed that it produces a good bit of exhaust smoke when throttle is blipped. The smoke seems to be fuel related. I've read that the akra map is rich. Has anyone else observed this? I'm running the cans with no inserts and they sound good, louder than my old rc51 with sato banzai pipes!

How new are the pipes? They may have some oily residue they are burning out which would just go away on it's own soon.

When you say exhaust smoke is fuel related what do you mean?

I had a problem not long after owning the bike where the rear cylinder injector had a leak so it just continually pored fuel through, obviously this made it over fuel and run ver very rich, this caused no smoke, just fookin great explosions of falme thrower proportions weneva the throttle was chopped (eitha in gear or in neutral)

It amuzed my dyno guy no end wen we were tryin to figure out what waz cuasin the runnin fault (2 KTM dealers cudnt rectify it both claimin there was nuthin wrong with the bike)

Wat im tryin to say is that over fuelin shudnt cuaz smoke!?!?!

If they are pretty new they do tend to get a whiff of smoke coming out of them, had that on both sets of akras I have had till all the bits have bedded in and burnt off any excess gubbins.

That is after the engine has been switched off though.
