I wouldnt run MIVV's without a remap, I have been doing and got a shock when I saw the air/fuel ratio on the dyno
My view on this is - if the pipe has some sort of baffle and you are still running with O2 sensors then the std map is OK. If the pipes are straight through with no baffles then you probably better off running the akra map. I've run the akra map from new with baffles in but recently changed back to std map (using tuneecu). There is hardly any difference other than getting 4 or 5 more MPG although the akra map is slightly nicer to ride.

KTM will tell you to run the akra map if your changing your pipe, however, check the advrider site as someone on there has done extensive testing and found no real benefit with running the akra map other than crap MPG ie the bike runs perfectly healthily on the std map with straight through pipe but baffles in.

Ultimately you are better off having a custom map done but you takes your choice.
have a look at the middle graph air/fuel ratio, this was running the akrapovic baffles fitted map
