Exhausts slip-ons advice-opinions

Hello guys (and girls maybe)

I am about to spend some money in upgrading my SD (05 model) and the 1st thing I am looking into is an exhaust set. I am between akras and yoshimura.
Could anyone tell me his experience with these regrading performance, reliability and fuel consumption.

PS: I tried a search in the forum before posting.

I might have a set of round race akras for sale. Would be looking for £350-ish for them. I have polished them and they have a mark but its on the inside and can't be seen. The Y pipe is ceramic coated black.
