First ride - smoking exhaust

My bike came from the dealer in the same crate that it came from Austria. It had never come out of the box, so had never been started or test ridden.

The first time I fired it up and rode it about 10ks, it ran like a champion and I loved it! When I killed the ignition, the right side exhaust pipe smoked like a chimney for about 10 minutes. Does the factory put some kind of oil or lubricant inside the exhaust to prevent corrosion when they deliver them to dealers?
Don't worry...it is completely normal...it may do it for some time. I think it has to do with the catalytic converters in the stock exhaust... Put some Akras on it after break-in and HOLD ON!!!!!!

congrats on the new bike
Mine did that too after my first short ride, but out of both pipes - looked like a fired shotgun!
