First and foremost, you MUST check the battery connections, not just look at them, get the cover off and tighten them yourself. I've lost count of the threads I've seen on here for all sorts of electrical gremlins, that have turned out to be a loose battery terminal. Unfortunatly, unlike say a suzuki, you can't get to read the fault codes I don't think, unless somebody knows different. Tommorrow morning, I would ring up your dealer and tell them your woes, and, 'for £91/2K, you can come and get it'! (Remember to be nice or you don't get jack)
You don't have an alarm on it by any chance do you?

You just kick her into neutral when the FI light is on on to get the blink codes...

Rang my dealer earlier and they've already sorted my bike , the fault according to them was evidently a wire from the coil which had chafed against the frame causing a short circuit
I'll try and find out more when i get over and pick it up.
