i had assumed that aftermarket cans ran without a catalytic converter, so i was suprised when i took off one of my cans to find one in there, i have akro evo slip on (they cam fitted to my bike, (07). i've now pulled both out of each can.
i did a little search to see if it's ok to run without them but didn't find anything conclusive. they look very restrictive so they'll stay out unless anyone know's of a good reason to put them back, or a bad reason to have them out?
also i found a topic, which mentioned there may be different maps for different akros, (05/06 non cat) (07-on, with cat). i'm running a MH airbox, akro evo map with tune ecu which i'm sure is ok but wondered if anyone knows if it's better to have them in or not?
