I took my 07 back to the dealer, wanted valves adjsuted at month 23 (before warentey expired in case they fu#Ked it up) The pussys whined that it was too much trouble to check (motor sounded great to them), sold me a set of tyres (needed) and offered ECU update. Fine I thought, since I had the original 03/07 USA flash running.

Get the bike back, fueling is fatter the hell, 50 miles later the seat is getting hot, 70 miles, I am pulling the seat off the see what's burning!

Reset ECU and retest, same, super hot Cat, bike getting slower.
It's been sitting at the dealer for two weeks no news other then (waiting for KTM to get back to them).

If the dumb asses but the wrong flash in it, is my cat fried? How would I know? Has anybody else had this happen? what was the out come?

I'd say look at this as a blessing in disguise and get them to chip in with you on a set of after market cans as they cocked it up. You'll save a shit load of weight, gain a load of power and she will sound awesome. It's a win win situation

If you feel bad about the enviroment loosing the CAT donate $5 a month to Greenpeace
