Front forks

I have been reading with interest about altering the fork and shock settings on the bike so thought that last night i would have a tinker as my bike seems to push the front through bends
After wriing down where everything is set i i decided to compromise between sport and comfort settings as i found the sport to hard for my local roads and the comfort like riding an armchair?
when i explored further i found that one of the plastic adjusters on the top of the fork has only got 14 clicks of adjustment but the other has 25 clicks
as if something has siezed up in the fork internals
Has anybody had similar problems
after setting the bike up she seems to turn in a lot better now although i still feel that the sag at the front is not quite enough at 35mm
the back is now 54mm
cheers for any assistance offered from roy

Sounds to me like you hadn't figured out the clicks properly when you did the first fork, but had by the 2nd. I say this coz that's exactly what I did

Try starting all over again - wind it all the way to the end, and then watch as you count the clicks - it's quite a deliberate action - each click has 3 parts in the movement - move, click, move to rest. Then repeat for the next click.

I found there was a slight diference between forks in the number of clicks - but only part of 1 click.
