Hi guys,

I had sone leaking of fuel from fuel hose coming out of pump and i thought that the pump is leaking.
After inspection i noticed that the plastic quick coupling (named clutch on oem parts) was broken internally, so i completely remoned it and i replaced the hose with a new continuous one.
My question is, if by removing this part, normal fuel delivery and consumption is affected(?).
I drove the bike for some km and i dint notice any difference, but in the future?
Removing the quick disconnect will not effect fuel usage or mixture. KTM uses the same fittings as BMW and there is a improved ( doesn't break ) part available with a metal
center tube ( not plastic ), But they are not cheap.

use a dab of rubber grease on the o ring and be careful not to catch the o ring on the lock clip as you connect them too, easy to do and a nicked o ring causes leaks as well.
