I've just ordered a new product from G2 the people who make the throttle cam replacement. It's called the "Throttle Tamer" and is for all the KTM V twins.Unlike the throttle cam kit it comes fitted with the 400 cam only which is the most popular alternative. I have ordered the tube with the Delrin liner for smoother action and including postage it came to a few pence shy of £60. You will need to go to G2's website at g2ergo.com

#4I have the G2 quick turn throttle. Not sure which cam it's equal to but I love it.

#5The #100 cam is stock. So...if I remember correctly, the quick turn is 80.

#6Just ordered one myself. I read about them in Motorcycle Consumer News and it sounds like a good fix for the touchy EFI. Called `em up and yes, they do have one for the SD. Someone out there might have just answered my prayers!

#7It's a matter of wording, but it definitely doesn't "actually" fix the EFI. It reduces the jerkiness, by reducing the throttle sensitivity.
smokey74 has a better throttle hand, and maybe he's got a good set of O2 sensors.

#11Finally got the chance to fit and try out the "Throttle Tamer" today. Fitting was a piece of cake, the hardest part was removing the rubber grip from the existing throttle tube but even so it was done and dusted in 20 minutes or so. So does it work? well yes, it has made for a much less choppy ride and i don't have to be consciously micromanaging the slightest bit of throttle input. With the throttle tamers 400 profile cam it softens the first 1/4 turn so you lose that on/off jerkiness and makes riding with a neutral throttle much more relaxing. I don't know if it's available in the UK yet but i ordered mine direct from G2 in the US and it took only 5 days to get to me and it's a much cheaper option than a power commander. An essential mod.
