Hello. I have the Zumo 550 unit and I've found this forum to be of value.

I don't have mine to hand, presently (it's on the bike, in the garage) so can't answer your question directly. I do know that the fuel gauge on the 550 only works when it's in the BIKE mount, not in the CAR mount.
Thanks Skavitch.... just another forum to join

I only have the moto mount so I will agree with you on that one.

Thank you.

I have the 450 and I know that's water resistant and I'm sure
the 550 is as well. Here is where I put mine. Its on a RAM ball
mount on the left side, so I can move it wherever.

Do a search I know there are many other pics on the placements.

BTW.... I found my answers on that site Skavitch.... THANK YOU

I don't use the GPS but only on long rides, so I just have the RAM ball
that came with the moto set-up and have that U-bolted to my
handguards.(this stays here) It makes taking the mount, wires & GPS off quickly and easily.

No need for me to spend more $$ on this thing But those CNC ones
look realllllly nice.
