I just picked up a Garmin Zumo 550. Do I just splice into the low beam? If so, what wire, there's like 3 of them (the color of the wire would be great)? Wiring into the low beam seems like the gps would suck too much power?

#2there are 2 aux power supply slots. 1 permanent and 1 off the ignition. Depending on which bike you own they are either in the headlight mask or under the seat.

#3I've got an 08 standard SD. I'm assuming the aux is in the mask, but where at? Electrics are not my strong point.

#4On my 2007 SD the auxiliary connectors were under the headlamp mask, zip tied at the left fork tube.
