I'd like some nice black anodised aluminium ones as well. The plastic ones are pieces of $hit.
Got back from a ride couple of days ago and the left heel guard was stuck under the chain guide. I obviously bumped it over during a direction change while the rear was compressed.
Pretty chessy design.
