fitting new carbon can co exhausts friday.
they say that if i leave the baffles in there no need re-map but if i remove
the baffles i should get it mapped.
do i get it mapped anyway and then i can take them in or out asi wont
or is it best to fit ap/commarder and get it mapped.

any advice would be greatfull

thanks
A CUSTOM "dual" MAP IS ALWAYS AN ADVANTAGE OVER THE GENERIC VERSION,

THAT IS A ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL,,, sorry caps lock on, I was not yelling.
Joe's right, a custom map with a PC 3 is going to be the best option. If you don't want that route then at least have the Akrapovic map downloaded by your dealer. Whilst I'm sure the exhaust manufacturer knows what they are talking about, I personaly wouldn't fit them without some alteration to the fuel injection map, PC 3, Akra or otherwise.
also, no, once you have it mapped, you cannot take out/put in baffles as/when you want, not without remapping again!
if you have PC3 or equivalent, you can put baffles in/out AND change the map at the same time, but you do need 2 maps - one for baffles in, one for baffles out....
