I bought one on the recommendation of Nickeluring but never fitted it. In fact this post reminded me I have one....shame I just sold the SDR. D'oh!

Really pleased with this mod. Loads of extra light for both day and night plus it looks cool. What more can you want?

I've done it (the mod not the bird) and I'd never go back to filament bulbs again.

Great value mod too as the bulbs last 10 times longer!

The kit is a guy out of california that converts regular lights to HID's for many sandrails and quads. I sent him a message to see if he could do my SD and he told me $60 shipped. He can be found on glamisdunes.com. He has great reviews on the site and I have an offroad convertied light from him and it works great. No problems for a year now. I haven't done it yet do to spending the money and worrried about the legality of it on the road.
