I know this has been discussed in the past but since I made one up today I thought I'de post up a few picks for the newer guys. BTW this is seriously "piece of puss and cheep az chops bro" (accent put in for our kiwi brothers ) all you need is some mesh (usually can be bought from car accessory places for front bars, grills etc) and optional length of rubber capping for the top and bottom that can be bought by the metre from foam and rubber type places. For example mesh and rubber capping cost $40 and there's still enough to do 2 more I reckon. I think the RadGuard one costs about $200 here..
With mine, it sits in between the rad tanks and core and is a nice tight fit without any additional fittings or tip ties. I haven't ridden with it yet but I can't see it going anywhere in a hurry. Also being black at a quick glance you wouldn't even know it was there..
