just do an advrider search, then you'll get to...a thread or two there showing it, and to the HOW. ..I can't think of the URL but you'll find it there. Lots of photos, all you need. Hold on, i've got it saved, I'll check for URL.....
....here you go:

If i were you Dan i'd have a day trip to Leicester,if they do it for £70 it's worth it as you wont have all the different size shim's you might possibly need, but they will. I do my own valve clearence's on my Honda xr but i dont need shims for that so it's very easy, you may have to order the right size shims in if they dont have them in stock. It could end up costing you more time and effort than £70 so i'd be inclined to bite the bullet now.

cheers

Got my valves checked, new plugs, and oil changed today by my local KTM dealer. They have done great work for me in the past and continue to do so now. They also cleaned and lubed the chain and no mention of any cost for that. Total bill was $333. I don't think it was to bad at all.

I was going to do the brake and clutch fluid change myself. I know to use the Dot 5.1, but is anything else needed. The manual says use an extractor, but I would think it was necessary.
