How loud is the motobox?

Been looking at the dyno graphs and the excellent tutorial on the Motobox. I keep gravatating towards it, and either a Power Commander or a TuneBoy.

My bike with the FMFs and the quiet inserts, is about a loud as I care to go. However I ALWAYS wear earplugs.

Is the Motobox worth the extra racket? How bad is it?

Powwer Commander or Tune Boy? I have experence with the PC. Know notheing about the TB.

With earplugs in you wont really notice the diffrence!
Just more of a deep growl coming from the intakes - sounds like it wants to rip ya nuts off and spit em out the exhuasts

Tuneboy is a viable option (and the 1 i would choose) if you can find some 1 who understands it and can work with it!

Fact is i got my PC3 for virtually nothing and i couldnt find any 1 localish that wanted to have a go at the Tuneboy

That was pretty good, Pete. I had to laugh at that one.

The main reason I don't care for the noise the FMFs make is because it may disturb others. But complaints stopped when I put the little cones in. I willingly accept the noise of the FMFs becaise of the weight loss and the performance gain. I always wear earplugs. They don't bother me.

It kind of bugs me that my bike has more performance bottled up waiting to be let loose.
