#3In their 07/08 annual report, KTM says:
In the street segment we sold 25,553 motorcycles (+17.8 % on the previous
year). Sales were up in all areas, except in the Supermoto where
figures were down slightly by –4.5 % to 9,773 motorcycles. Particularly
good results were achieved in the Naked Bike (+36.3 % to 6,317 motorcycles)
and Superbike (2,058 motorcycles). They were primarily the
result of the successful market launches of the 690 Duke and 690 Enduro
with a single cylinder, four-stroke engine (LC4) and the 1190 RC8
with a V2-cylinder, four-stroke engine (LC8) and the sustained strong
demand for the 990 Super Duke.
