How to take luggage on SD

going on some holidays with the SD this year..and wondering how you guys attach bags to the SD?

for a longer trip (>5 days) i normally have a small bag on the tank and a bag on the duoseat. Though since the Duke has the exhausts right under the seat i don't know how i';m going to tie the bag on the back without damaging the exhaust/bike/bag.

so, if you have some tips/pics, please post them.

There have been loads of threads covering this subject and I'm sure there is something amongst them that will suit you. Use the 'search' facility and look for 'lugage', 'tank bags' and 'tailpacks'.

Last year I did 4 days in France with just a tailpack fixed to the back seat using the little loopholes under the seat. That was with a stock exhaust too & it never got burnt (although it pi$$ed with rain continuously ). Tailpack I used was the cheapy Oxford one you can get for between £10-£20. It did overlap the seat edges a bit, but not enough to be a problem.
