Anyone by any chance know the size of the hex head required for removal it's either a 14mm-16mm I think,,,not sure,,,,

#3If it's any constellation, I went out to see if I had anything that would fit but it turns out that the biggest hex key I have is only 10mm.

#5Never thought about the tool kit wont hold my breath though,,,,all the kits I've seen only go up to 10-12mm,,,,will let ya know,,,,

#6How bout trying to measure it with a scale or caliper? If you've only got inch measuring tools multiply measurement by 25.4 to get millimeters.

#7It's 14 mm.
If you don't have a key/socket/whatever that size, you can always use a hex-head bolt (easy to obtain). Double-nut the bolt at the exposed/accessible end, and use a wrench on the inner nut to loosen the ignition cover bolt.

#8Good idea with a hex bolt,,,,,one in the toolkit is 12mm,,,,,like to find a "T" handle set with the larger sizes,,,,,been looking but no go,,,,,,,,,,,,one would think that KTM would sell one,,,
