I use this one by Hein Gericke...............
The straps are a bunch of arse so i just chuck cargo net over the top and hook it on to the frame. No problems at all, even fully extended, in fact fully extended is better when touring as it takes the wind of your chest.
There is enough room in there for a weeks worth of clothing and the built in waterproof cover is good quality, it fits over the fully extended bag with no problems.
