Jumping out of gear

Has anyone else experienced the bike jumping out of gear at all. I had a trackday at Mallory on the weekend, and whilst coming off the straight the sd jumped out of gear, at about 90mph. It's done it a couple of times before in the past whilst around town, but this was a bit disconcerting at speed.
It made a lot of crunching noises, I pulled in the clutch quickly and had to search around a bit to find a gear.

I think I'll get the dealer to have a look, but in the meantime can anyone shed any light?
happened to me few times as well, shifting into 5th...
How many miles do you have since your last oil change? I know it seems odd, but my SD starts to shift poorly after about 3,500 miles. The recommended oil change is 4,000 but I do it every 2,000 now...
That sound scary to me, the crunching noises would be freaking me out for sure, I would pull all the magnets and see what you see? if there is a big problem it should show itself on the magnet. I am not real sure how the oil passes from the engine to the trans but I would make it my business to find out and drain all the oil and take a 5 lb magnet and go through it for a few min's to see if you could pick up any metal. Inspect the oil filter and oil screen closely. If you find metal go to the dealer pronto, save your oil and other stuff for the ktm folks. HTH.
