Usually takes just over 3 litres if you drained it well. Follow instructions in the manual and you can't go wrong mate

a related question - do people have any tips for controlled draining of the oil?
In the past I've attempted to drain a little oil but failed to get the damn plug back in....oil spurting everywhere as I tried to thread the plug, alas by the time it caught in the threads I had far too little oil left in the motor...

Siphon it out of the tank with a syringe or other suitable tool.
