three weeks after i took my ill superduke (08 model with 3ks) to the dealer with a broken engine she is back. diagnosis, one of the vavels went. ktm austria said they did not why this happened and had asked if i came from a il4 as maybe i was not riding her correct???? as it happens i have had many many vtwins and have more than twenty years of riding and racing so i can not agree that the valve broke because i was riding it like an inline 4.

anyway i am not sure what to do with her, i do like the bike but im not sure if i want to keep her, i think i will have to go out tonight just to get that old feeling back.

There is a theme there, bike broken, rider must be a twat,

KTM Training course, paragraph 7, sub sect 3, d16

If at any stage the Customer (twat) presents a bike to you with an obvious faulty, do not under any circumstances agree that it's a manufacturing malfunction or problem, merely agree to inspect the bike, providing all the usual half hearted re-assurances that you have never seen this problem before or heard of it (though we know you probably will have) look as honest as you would when going to see your grand mother, upon collection by said Customer (twat) ask the customer to prove he can ride the bike, as the fault was caused (we know best) by his or even better her riding (if it's a female your home and dry-who they going to belive a KTM trained engineer with 3 mins experience or a female rider-come on ) then look completley gormless (lacking intelligence and vitality) which as a KTM approved dealer should be easy for you, hell F**k boy, if you had any Intelligence (intellect for you dumb Bast**rds at the back) you would not have a KTM agency,

FOR KTM INTERNAL DISTRIBUTION ONLY

Spot on! and so funny, I have had all those excuses plus:

''It's character mate, if you wanted a smooth running characterless bike you should buy a Honda''

There's little point trying to talk to the tech, the only bike in his world is a KTM, and they're all faultless
