Hi Mark, Internal combustion engines do not "use" engine coolant and something is wrong, more than likely the waterpump seal has taken a crap and you should address this post haste rather than dilly-dally around and blow a head gasket if you haven't already. Even one (1) ounce or whatever measurement this is to you should have made your hair stand up on end, do not be complacent when it comes to abnormal circumstances you know to be a critical issue if left unattended.. for me it has been 2 years and joe has not added a drop of coolant or engine oil. Sorry if I come off as harsh but you know better than this and Mark is a real gear head.

If there's a poor seal on the radiator cap that can cause the bike to piss coolant out through the breather pipe when parked up after a hit ride.

But I guess you'd have seen the puddle if that was the case?

what exactly is the easiest way to change the coolant? I'm not trying to change to water but I'd like to refill mine as its 2 years old now
