Ktm akro remap ??

I have just bought a pair of akro slipons for my 09 superduke , i am keen to get them fitted but can i use it without the akro remap or will this damage my engine ?? I live on a small scottish island and its a 14 hour ferry trip to my nearest dealer to get the remap done !!! Any advice would be very helpfull

with baffles in you can run slipons on stock map. some say you can run no baffles too, but my bike kept stalling and run really, really "jerky" like that.
alernative is to get PC/tuneboy and get the bike dyno tuned, or even to get the PC and load one of the DynoJet maps, or a map from one of the good people here (as long as your setup is simmilar)

I ran my SDR with akra and db killers in for about 1500 miles. it was ok but surges at light throttle/closed throttle. it's 10 times better with the map.

and ten times better than that with a PCIII and a dyno tune
